P and K Movers

Dj had a negative, disrespectful attitude from the start. I booked my move a month out, the move window was pushed back the morning of. After the move window was pushed back they were 30 minutes late. They rushed the job and finished loading and unloading within two hours. ( I paid for a 4 hour job) They left a lot of my belongings at my previous location and refused to go back and load for a second time even though there were two hours remaining. When I spoke with Dj about making a second trip to load he began to become frustrated and yelled at me. I will never use this company again.

Wanted more money based on single flight of stairs BEFORE they even arrived. Got multiple texts asking same questions. Agreed on 2 workers for 3 hours, despite assuring them it would easily be done in under 2 (more money for stairs). Showed up with 3 workers (1 from P and K, 2 from a partner company). One worker asked to use bathroom, left seat down and peed all over it. I was assured their guy with experience would pack the truck well. All the moving blankets were used, so I figured they were taking care of our stuff. Should’ve seen red flag when worker was strapping 3 bikes ($2-3k each) without anything between them, and only put a blanket between when asked. They were done and gone in 45 minutes, no refund for the added time that I said they wouldn’t need. When we unloaded the truck- crushed boxes (heavy stuff on top), blankets had been used to fill gaps not for protecting. Not sure how nothing got broken!
