The people who called ahead of time did not inform the actual movers who showed up that there was a heavy sofa bed, so after spending 3 hours moving the 1 item, they insisted on the payment code to leave. They damaged the apartment, the building, and they scratched and sweat profusely all over everything. Loaded in a disorganized manner. Awful experience. I ended up rushing to move most of the stuff and then reload almost everything by myself after they left.

The person who posted a job did not show up. Instead, they hire two other guys from Craigslist who wouldn’t complete the job until they get paid, and even after giving them the u-haul payment code, they say still said the u-haul guy didn’t pay them and they wouldn’t complete moving until they get a tip! One of them left immediately after that and I had to unload too many items myself as movers barely worked for a complete hour.
