Very disappointed in the poor service. I hired them to come at 9am. They called at 930 to say they were finishing up another job and would be there between 10-11, then that became 1145. They did not show up until 1pm. There was NO APOLOGY. I told them I would like to prioritize furniture and they started loading boxes. It wasn’t until the second time I said I wanted the furniture loaded that they started loading furniture. One of them asked me if I had bottled water which if I did I would have provided but I was moving and did not have any. They said they were 4 hours late because they were finishing up another job, yet as soon as my four hours were up they couldn’t wait to get the payment code and get out of there. Didn’t even get half of my stuff moved. These issues caused delays in returning my Uhaul which I am getting charged for. They also broke our cat tree. Very careless and very poor service. I would like some type of compensation for them adding stress to my move.

I really wanted to rate this company higher because the crew was polite, accommodating, and showed up on time. But the way the truck was loaded caused some real issues. They put boxes at the front of the truck and heavier items toward the back, which made the load unbalanced and the drive unstable. The weather forecast was bad that day, so this could have been unsafe and should have been taken into account when loading. They also did not use the full height of the truck, so not everything fit. I had to go back and get rid of more stuff, including things I needed. There was also a decent amount of damage - scratches and dings to the walls at both places, multiple pieces of furniture damaged, a plastic tote broken without being mentioned, and several boxes damaged beyond reuse. The crew themselves were great to work with, but the way everything was loaded made the move harder than it needed to be and led to damage.

Our son arrived at his destination late on a Sunday afternoon and needed unloading help. Using U-Haul's Moving Labor page, we quickly found First Class Moving Services, contacted them and received an immediate reply. Noah and his helper were able to step up at the very last minute and go to our son's house and help unload their 26' U-Haul truck. Noah and his helper did a fantastic job performing most of the heavy lifting and making sure the truck was emptied and the contents put in their proper locations in the house. We can't speak highly enough of Noah & team by dropping everything on a Sunday evening to come help our son unload his truck.
