This made my experience a bit anxious - I had to call and text for two days requesting a confirmation time of arrival and they came outside of the hour window I was told (where I called twice). The movers were very friendly and accommodating - when their phone died, I had to wait and find where they were to my new place, so the company gave me one free hour. However, they dragged a lot of my furniture, handled my fragile items and boxes haphazardly, actually dropped some of my glasses which then I picked and cleaned up the shattered pieces. Cushions were scattered and lying on the outside floors. Water was spilled, walls were nicked and a cover to a ceiling light was knocked off and not placed back on at my old place. Boxes and other large items were also dropped - I am unpacking today and scared to see if anything else is broken. Again, the movers were very nice so I hate to write this review. But as a paid service to help ease my stress and anxiety as a single mover, this was not it.

Communication was poor. I called them 3 times to confirm the time. They said they call back immediately but didn’t. They finally responded to text. One guy was really good and doing the job, the other person was useless.

My movers were superb. It was really hot on the last part of the move. I rewarded both men with a very nice tip. In fact I think it was the nicest tip ever from me. I am on a very limited income but these 2 men worked hard and I wanted to show my appreciation. I also tipped the packers in the boxes. I really appreciated thei kind help.

Discount Movers offered good communication and on-time arrival. The workers were incredibly polite and a joy to work with. When we ran out of boxes to transport gallons of paint, they offered the bed of their truck so the paint would not move around the 20 foot U-Haul! The move consisted of traveling to 3 locations and for them to utilize multiple staircases. It was exhausting work but they did the job without complaint AND they did it in the time allotted. Highly recommend!
