My first complaint is when Heather contacted me and said that they needed to book an additional hour for the move. I argued saying there wasn't that much items meeting to be moved, but she said since I was moving from one zone to a second zone I had to pay a minimum of four hours fine because I had no other choice. Heather and a man showed up at my house and started moving things. The man was clearly upset and when they went outside, I heard him yelling at her. They came back inside and went to Move again and when they went back outside he was screaming at her and cursing at her in my apartment parking lot , one of my friends went outside and asked him if there was a problem and he told them they needed to keep their voices down. We then went to the second location. Looks like they were dragging out the time. I had the UHaul for 6 hours. The Moving Help was late to the job. They said they called & left a message, but there was none. After the first loading area they were to go to the second loading area and then to the off-load area. They did not. After the first load, they went to the off-load area leaving my UHaul driver having to wait for them at the second loading area for another 45 minutes. Almost 2 hours of my UHaul time was wasted waiting for them. There was a man and a woman and two children. Very unprofessional.

These guys were amazing! I'm an older woman in not so good health & although I did my best to be ready for them, they had to do a lot of extra things like dealing with my cats & their hair everywhere they also moved things that I was unable to pack. Plus it was very hot with humidity... they were polite & friendly & I would use them again Ina heartbeat

I recommend AVOIDING Best Movers after my recent experience. My experience started off with them showing up an hour late, one member of the team often found sitting on my furniture not assisting with the move, multiple wood furniture items (dressers, dining room chairs) chipped-damaged, in addition to them taking apart multiple pieces of furniture during the move without speaking with me making it difficult to put them items back together after the move. Most concerning aspect was my initial agreement with MovingHelp was for $272.95, in the middle of the unloading aspect of the move I was pulled aside and forced to pay a surprise bill totaling for a cost of $539.95 which equated to paying for a 6 hour move when the entire move only took 3 hours. I called MovingHelp immediately after this and was told this is not company policy and I should not have been charged past what was initially agreed upon. I will be avoiding MovingHelp and and Best Movers during my next move.
